Orm was always very grateful to the staff of
Mountain View Assisted Living, The Golden Hospital and Durand Manor for their
kindness, compassion and excellent care that he enjoyed. He said many times “
it just couldn’t be better”. The Braisher family is so thankful that we have
facilities and staff like we have in Golden. We agree, “ it just couldn’t be
better”.

Thelma Evelyn Barlow Celebration of Life
Family and Friends of Thelma Barlow will gather in her memory at the Golden Civic Centre at 2:00pm on Saturday October 8th 2016

Kicking Horse Summit Funds supports the Friends

As of 7:00 this morning gifts amount to $2825.
Giving Thanks to the Golden & District Hospital got off
to an early start. The page opened at midnight EST so was accepting donation at
10 pm MST yesterday. Gifts trickled in last night from late-night Facebook
followers. Now it’s the turn of the early risers.
Special thanks to Marc Hadford, who was quick to follow my
lead last night, and to Dr Chad Genning and Dr Jeff Dolinsky who were burning the midnight oil.

When you donate to the Friends of the Golden & District Hospital, Canada Helps will issue to you a charitable donation tax receipt
for the full amount of the donation. The tax receipt will be emailed to you
automatically. You can also print the tax receipt directly from the donation
page. Your tax credit will vary depending on your level of donation.

Minor equipment needs for the Golden & District Hospital and Durand Manor.
The money raised by the Friends of the Golden & District Hospital stays in Golden!!
The Friends of the Golden and District Hospital hope to raise sufficient funds to purchase all the items on the wish list for 2016. When these funds are received, EKFH will allocate the funds directly to the Golden Hospital Fund #2000 and the funds will be used to purchase equipment listed below. Funds raised in excess of the target, $50000, will be set aside for future equipment requirements of the Golden Hospital and Durand Manor. Final purchasing decisions will rest with the staff at the hospital.
