Audrey Alexandra Johnson
"General Johnson", as she was affectionately known at Golden Secondary School where she taught math, died on December 20, 2020 at the age of 94 years.
Audrey's family would like to thank the staff at the Golden Hospital for her care and to Dr. Tan for his unwavering dedication to, and compassion for, her.
What better way to support the local community and it's hospital than by donating to the Friends of the Golden & District Hospital.
All of the money donated to the Friends, stays in Golden and is used to buy equipment for the hospital and/or Durand Manor over and above the annual budget.
Every year since its inception in 2015, Audrey has donated to the Friends of the Golden Hospital Thanksgiving Fundraiser. Her support for the community and the hospital has been unwavering.
Audrey's family has made a very generous donation of $10,000 that will be used to buy equipment in 2021.
