I have noticed there are more anonymous donations than usual resulting from a change in the privacy policy of Canada Helps. Unless you give permission to show your name, your donation will appear as "anonymous". To have your name shown and be recognized you must check the box;
"Display my name and donation amount on Friends of the Golden & District Hospital...."
Even then your name will be displayed with your first name and only the initial of your surname.
For example my donation is attributed it to "Keith H."
To show your full name and be recognized you must include your full name in the message box. For example in the box "Add a message of support" type;
"Thanks to the staff at GDH, Keith W. Hern" or
" In memory of Joe, Jane Doe"
If you wish to remain anonymous ignore the above.
Large or small, all donations show you care.
$25, 50, $100, $250, $500 or more
